Domain name transfer

I requested a domain name transfer on Friday. Still hasn't happened although my domain name has disappeared from the domain list. So I now have no website and no email.

I thought this would be an easy, complete in 24hours job!

Support  said it must have gone wrong but the person who would deal with it wasn't in at the weekend.

Words fail.

Anything I can do?

Sorry to hear your domain isn't working.

I believe I've since replied to your tweet, but if you can PM me the IPS tag I can send the request off to the relevant team to action when they're back in the office next week.

As I said in my tweet reply It's ridiculous that there is no one available to do this. Why isn't it mentioned on the transfer services page.Ie "don't do this at weekends because we can't cope with it." I pay for the business service because I am a business whose website and email is essential.

I've sent the request over now to our hostmaster team.

We'd expect it to be picked up within 24-48 hours.
