I can't see this is possible on the web page. Can see no facility to delete the number.
Do I have to phone Customer Support?

If I remember correctly, there is no way! I managed by replacing it with another, current, number.

PN control their accounts via the phone number until such time as you move to a FTTC SOGEA or FTTP connection.
As you'e on FTTP you can change the old landline number to either your mobile number or the appropriate number of zero's ie 00000 000000

Not having a (mobile) number on the account is likely to inhibit the automatic faults test bot should one have cause to need it.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
