Re: what is the correct term for this.....

@shutter

As it appears that you could likely get a replacement knob in the right size and with the finger dimple,

isn't the easiest solution just to swap the knob for a new one, as it is likely just a grub screw attachment ?

You could keep the original knob somewhere safe, in case you ever wanted to revert back to the original design.

Re: what is the correct term for this.....

@outcast  Yup !  could do that .. but there are two big knobs on this receiver, that match the whole colour scheme  and I don`t think the expense of replacing them both is worth it.

just adding a stick on "dimple" would be no problem. ( could even add one to each to "match" the pair ! )

Re: what is the correct term for this.....

Unfortunately I can't see the photo, I guess I'll just have to tag @James_B to get the picture unblocked Crazy2

What an effing waste of everybody's time, this situation is hopeless.

Is £1.72 too expensive ?

There is the risk though that it might take so long for @James_B  to unblock this image, that it might have gone obsolete !

@outcast   wonder if it is something in your settings for your profile, as it appears in my posting.

Yes, that is how it now works.

I can see what I posted, but nobody else can until a moderator 'approves' my images.

Similarly you can see what you posted, but nobody else can until approved.

Hopefully on Monday when @James_B  sees all his tagged notifications, he will roll back the forum to working as it used to ?.

Probably better to use a router cutter, e.g. like this one.

Other sizes / cheaper brands are available.

Re: what is the correct term for this.....

I didn't pay the postage, just dropped it in the mailbox.

I thought you could at least afford the fee to receive it.

Expect it when you see it.
