Can I email Google customer service for help? 

 

support@google.com is the official email address of Google to which you can raise the issues and help them find a solution for the queries. You can get their aid and be availed of the resolution you are looking for.

You must draft the issues well so that you can get hold of the aid you are looking for.

IIUC This is a secondary account recovery email address: verification of that (the address is correct and the user proves access to it would seem to be a very pragmatic wise move.  There'd be nothing worse than finding out one could not access the primary email account ... and then find out the back up recovery route does not work either!

Fair enough, @Townman . I only have the one (seldom used) Gmail account, so don't/didn't know how the worked.

Yes, as far as Google is concerned the address they wanted to verify is my secondary address. The email I sent them to ask if the verification request email was genuinely from them was from the address they want to check. I wonder if they will notice that
