You also may need to check on the user's PC what the settings are for the Network DNS.

Can I suggest you use file attachments, as images have to be approved..
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@VH3 No, I don't think PN can directly interrogate your router.
To attach an image on a phone. you need to change from the mobile to desktop view.

Can you go to the PN router's My devices page and see if there is any record of unknown devices having been connected. List should show under "Device name".
What I don't understand is, if a device has been logged on to a Wi-Fi source once it should retain the Wi-Fi credentials and just log on automatically next time, until told to 'Forget' them.

...Never seen that before! Is that a PN router manual set-up page?

That's what I would have thought but it's not working. The stupid thing is , I'm using the WiFi connection on my phone and it's working ok.
Just had a 'lightbulb' moment. My phone is Android, the in-laws connection is on an iPad. Would it be something in the Apple settings?

Nothing to do with Apple settings.

...Online account log in page is what it looks like to me! But PLUSNET-QWC93Q is simply a PN router supplied default wireless network name ID. But you wouldn't normally log on to Wi-Fi with the PN online account details.
I wouldn't know about Apple stuff, how about you?

@Dan_the_Van That screenshot looks 'odd' to me.
I still think there is some malware/virus involved here, or the in-laws have inadvertently been on a dodgy site.
