clearing cache and cookies

One of the businesses I deal with has sent me an email telling me that because they are about to do some change to their on-line security, all of their customers must change their password by a certain date. Try as I might, it wont accept my new password. Worse still it has stopped accepting my old password. I managed to get a message to them advising them, and they set a new password and told me what it was. It worked I got into my account, but it immediately put me into their process for changing their password to one I wanted. I changed the password, which it didn't complain about, but didn't accept it either, so I'm still having to use their password.

I told them, and they gave me yet another password, which when I tried to use it wouldn't work - their first password did though.but again it puts me straight into the Reset Password thing again, and again it didn't work. They did suggest that maybe my cache and cookies should be cleared, so at the end of this tale of woe, my question to the forum is "how do I clear my cache and cookies?

Thankyou for any help

Close down all programs and re-boot your PC.

I tried something similar to your Search method, but the answer came back pointing to something which wasn't there on my pc (at least it wasn't visible, but didn't suggest where in what the answer to my problem was hiding

Long time since I used W7, and I've never used Chrome, but does this help?  https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
