End of contract

Plusnet do not remind customers when their contracts end.  They say you are told at the beginning and are supposed to remember.  This is a cynical practice.  How hard would it be to produce an automated reminder?  I tried to call but as always I was told that due to heavy demand there was a long wait. Ironically, Sales answer the phone straight away.

Re: End of contract

@coombe47 While I agree that shouldn't be hard for PN to send you a reminder, I always put myself a reminder (sticky note) on my computer for anything which has a contract end date - like power. insurance, railcard &c, although the three I have quoted send tou a reminder anyway.

How hard is it to log into the Plusnet Member Centre and check the account summary for yourself ?  Crazy3

Re: End of contract

Actually account summary only shows start date , not end date ,, thought you had to go through product change to see end date ?

Re: End of contract

@rongtw What you say is true, but surely when you take out the contract, you make note of its length - I certainly do.

Re: End of contract

I received an email about a month before my contract ended, and others have stated here that they've had phone calls (depending on what contact preferences you've chosen I suppose).  If you have chosen not to be contacted, you presumably won't be.
