Added M5 mesh system - do I need to alter Hub1?

Hello,

I have just bought a new TP link deco m5 setup, and have installed it. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I am sure I have to either change a setting, or disable something on the Hub1 to get it to work properly. I can’t get some devices to connect to The new m5 setup at all.

thanks

Dave.

@Bernard-Shakey

You cannot properly use a Hub One unless you configure the M5 in Access Point mode. In this case you should turn off the Hub One WiFi.

Alternatively you need to swap the Hub One modem/router for a simple bridge modem such as a Huawei HG612.

@Baldrick1 Thats it, I knew I had to switch off something. Its now done, and seems to be working like a charm.

Famous last words.

Thanks again.

Dave.
