It doesn't seem to be sinking in does it?
I am not chasing you for compensation.
You should be contacting me directly to apologise and offer compensation.
I don't work in customer support but it's obvious to me.
490 people have viewed this thread already and many of them might have been thinking of switching
to PlusNet mobile.
This thread already pops up on Google searches. The damage has been done but the response is the same.

That's no problem at all.
We won't be chasing you as not all of our customers choose to complain about delays.
We aren't to know if you're unhappy or not unless you choose to tell us.
I do understand and appreciate the feedback however!

Wish I'd know your approach to customer support before I signed up.
Just serves to demonstrate beyond doubt the subject of this thread.
I've shared this to Facebook so none of my friends suffer the same fate.

It is absolutely not our intention to come across like we don't care!
I've offered you the opportunity to discuss compensation and you didn't want to.
Therefore, unfortunately there is no more I can do to help you.
If you wish to complain, as with any company, the ownership is on you to let us know.

What an astonishing thread. I'm not surprised that you're not planning to stay around @angusbeare! The bottom line here though is that although PlusNet are getting the stick there's precious little they can do in reality to speedily sort things out - just down to the good old UK's archaic system. TBH, now that it's sorted, in your place I'd try to cool off and stick with PlusNet as the service once you're actually running is pretty OK really and a pretty competitive price.
The most wonderful comment that I've seen in quite a while though was "We aren't to know if you're unhappy or not unless you choose to tell us." As if there would be anyone in the universe who wasn't unhappy with such a porting disaster!

I could easily forgive PlusNet for the porting process being out of their hands. But it's difficult to forgive their attitude.
