Hi, I have read that PN will be offering FTTP, I have FTTP with you and was wondering if my speed can be increased to 100+

TIA

Re: FTTP Upgrade

@jamsey66 Do you mean you have FTTC with PN? Have you got the Full Fibre network in your area?

Re: FTTP Upgrade

OK. The only way you can get FTTP is by calling in, at the moment. It is for existing customers only at the moment until the FTTP site is up. Speeds/prices have been quoted on this site - have a look at the big post on the Full Fibre board, but you may get a lower price. Be aware it is Fibre broadband only - you will lose your landline number.

Re: FTTP Upgrade

@jamsey66

If you're on the FTTP Trial then you can upgrade to a higher speed. You'll need to agree a new contract but you'll get a new Hub2 (if you ask). You need to phone PlusNet Customer Options on 0800 013 2632. Look at post #7 in the PlusNET Full Fibre thread on the forum and you'll see the speeds available and the end of contract prices (actual cost is by negotiaton).

Note this is an Internet only service and you would lose your phone line (and number) if you sign up. However as a Trial member you can port your phone number to a VOIP provider first. You must mention it on here to ensure this doesn't termination your internet connect and needs to be done before your upgrade. @Gandalf usually helps out in this.

Hey James,

Upgrading your FTTP service shouldn't be a problem. Let me know how the call goes.
