Long story short my connection keeps dropping out, previous post regarding my problems can be found here https://community.plus.net/t5/Fibre-Broadband/Fibre-dropouts-engineer-reporting-line-is-perfect/m-p/...
Regardless, I decided to replace my Router and my Modem once again at a cost of £300 to see if it resolved the problem. I did this to avoid the usual finger pointing by Plusnet support asking me to do things like restart my router etc. I honestly couldn't stomach that level of technical support at this stage.
I have a new ASUS AC88U and a new Draytek Vigor 130. All connected now but experiencing frequent dropouts that show in my log as follows.
Sep 14 10:51:41 pppd[3926]: Serial link appears to be disconnected.

Any assistance from those in the know would be greatly appreciated @Gandalf and @MatthewWheeler you were assisting me last time with this issue that just sort of went away without any intervention from myself and has now returned...

Thanks for your post @chris-w
I just tried to call you but I couldn't hear you on the other end of the call.
Our tests are showing a fault that would require an engineer visit to resolve.
Can you respond to the fault ticket I've raised for you online and then post back once you've done so?

Hi @MatthewWheeler I have been having a terrible few days for my internet connection.
I have changed all my hardware about 6 months ago for a new modem and router in the hope that it would completely kill my issues but the exact same issue prevail and I basically ignored the occasional drop. In the last 3 days though it has become unworkable.
See below a section of log file.
