pfSense v2.9.0 new firmware release
Just a heads up for pfSense firewall users, firmware version 2.9.0 just got released.

2.9.0 New Features and Changes
I see in my own pfSense 2.8.1 firewall GUI console that firmware 2.9.0 is available to perform an in-place upgrade.
However I see that the official pfSense installer download page is still showing 2.8.1 as being the current version, but I believe the new installer will download the latest stable release from the install mirrors.
Going to my firewall's System / Update page,
changing the release branch to 2.9.0 does successfully download the new package information.
