very erratic ping / speed

Just had the bt engineer here and could not find anything on their side to give reason to the ping spikes even though he witnessed them first hand, all he could suggest was to let plusnet  know and he thinks it's from plusnets end .

Well  not heard back from anyone since bt engineer visited    , things are no better .

This is from since the engineer was here this morning and no one was using the internet  before 11 other than his testing .

Yea maybe so , he spent nearly 3hrs here but did say he had never seen a ping fault before . He spoke to his boss who wasn't too bothered as speeds were ok and wouldn't let the engineer move me to another connection (lift n shift ) as he called it .

That graph looks awful. As there's no traffic travelling over the line during those periods it's looking more and more like an exchange issue. Dave's speaking to BT about this today along with another exchange we've seen that's having similar issues.

Well finally looks like the problem has been sorted as there is a massive difference from yesterday . .Will see what its like over the peak period tonight .
