@OCdragon2 - Save the following as .reg file on your Desktop then double click and accept the changes when prompted and this will disable the Auto Update for you.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU]
"NoAutoUpdate"=dword:00000001

Or simply create the entry manually in the Registry.

Would this "Reg. Edition" suspend ALL W10 Auto-updates, including their MS's Security-Critical updates as well? If that were the case, this "edition" is NOT targetted for specific Auto-updates and I may have concerns over it though!

Thanks

Hi, this does what the key implies, and stops all updates regardless of source, so does not appear to be what you're looking for.

Have you tried the hide updates system? You can selectively hide (and show) an update with this.

I have glanced this link recommended by yourself and would try it later! Thank you.
