I am quite happy with the repeater I have at present. The problem now is that the common wifi channels will be swamped with stronger signals from further down the road. Not too bad where I live but high density housing could cause problems.

@TeeGee Mobile repeaters do not use Wi-fi frequencies, they re-transmit the actual mobile network signals... nothing to do with wi-fi. I consider them to be virtually useless if you have a very weak or non existent mobile signal you can't make it any better. Wi-fi calling is the way to go, that uses existing wi-fi signals to connect to the mobile network through your broadband connection, no stronger signals required.
