Re: hugely disappointed

Four times?
I have to take yet another day off work?
This is truly pathetic.

Re: hugely disappointed

I will not be available for an appointment tomorrow. I can't magic yet another day off out of thin air.
Earliest I can do is Wednesday. Not that it matters. At the point now where I expect things to go wrong.

Re: hugely disappointed

You might find this post a small comfort: http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,119591.0.html (OpenReach should pay Plusnet £45 for each missed appointment).
Also have a read of http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/delivery-rights
Making it clear that you will expect the FULL compensation you are entitled to might concentrate minds when it comes to arranging an appointment to suit you (e.g. Saturday).

Re: hugely disappointed

So, what's happening?
Is the appointment that will definitely go ahead booked for Wednesday?

Re: hugely disappointed

It's booked in for Wednesday 8am-1pm, I've had to chase this continually today to make 100% certain, I'll be doing the same tomorrow.

Re: hugely disappointed

Won't know for certain until I get home from work, but the engineer arrived as hoped.
Told everything is working.
Will know for sure later on.
Sounds promising.
Fingers crossed.

Re: hugely disappointed

It sounds good.
Will let you know, but thanks for your help.
And apologises if I've been a tad snarky along the way - was just frustrated.

Umm, are you paying for a new line because the computer says no to the one already installed? Please say no!
