After being with plusnet since dial-up days, it was a nice surprise to find this through my door today. :-)
Was racking my brains trying to work out what it was. Ha
Even without the gift, I’ve generally recommended plusnet to everyone as I’ve not had any big issues. Even got some of our remote offices on plusnet too. :-)
I notice it has an 'expiry' date (31/12/18). If you call Customer Options before that date and choose the option for "I'm thinking of not eating chocolate", will they let you have another one at a good price?
Why does the number eight come up as a 'cool' face?
Edit: Oh, I see, it's eight and close brackets.
So... I have been with Plusnet... 10 years... and I never got any chocolate.....
Who decides who gets this "bonus" ?
Surely, this kind of "gift" should be given to all customers with 10 years.
. or..... Better still....
a year`s FREE BROADBAND AND PHONE.
Now, THAT,... would be "doing you proud"... and I would appreciate it.
Also been with Plusnet since dial-up days and I also found it a nice surprise. Once again Many thanks plusnet.
Been with Plusnet almost 16 years.
The idea sounds good (Free Broadband & Phone) but suggesting a year I think would stop Plusnet even thinking about it. Surely it would be better for, after 5yrs 2 weeks credit, 10 yrs 1 months credit, 15yrs 2 months credit and if achieved 20 yrs 3 months credit (Max) all to be spread across 12 months. Perhaps this is something Plusnet could look into.
Hi @shutter,
The personalised chocolate bars are something that we've quite recently introduced. At the moment, team leaders and our customer advocates team are able to send these and they're normally sent on occasions where we've made a mistake or where a customer has provided feedback on an experience. This is still in trial stage and we're hoping to expand it in the future.
I'm afraid I'm not able to stretch to a year's free broadband and phone but I've popped a chocolate in the post for you as a thank you for being a long-term customer with us.
@mort7890 I like your idea of rewarding long-standing customers with free service, with the length of the free service dependant on the length of time that they have been our customer. I will pass this on.
Thanks,
Emily
@EmilyD Oooh! Thank you very much .... My missus has just started a diet, so it will be ALL MINE ! ! !

@shutter i had no idea you were a chocoholic :coolsmiley:
