Text requesting feedback - but why?

Just received a text, thus -

Q1/3 How satisfied were you with your recent experience?

I've no reason to doubt that it's genuine, but I'm not aware of having any recent interaction with Plusnet.  Undecided

Is your mobile number number associated with more than one account?
I help support a number of my referrals and thus my mobile number is on their accounts. I've had unexpected SMS messages when the account holder has made direct contact with PN.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@Townman   Good point. As far as I'm aware, only two other accounts have had my mobile attached. One is my daughter, who has had no reason to contact PN for a good few years, and the other is a friend who closed her account in 2015.
