Re: Migration Query

Hi dogwhisperer,
Matt is off today so I dealing this fault until he is back. I've rang the High Level Escalation team today to get an update about the PTO visit but they are still chasing his manager to get the notes. They've left him a voicemail and dropped him an email as well. as soon as they get the notes we will get a copy of them so that we can progress further. I'm in till 8 PM today and HLE lines are open till 6 PM so will get in touch with them if their reply requires any action from our end.

Re: Migration Query

Hi Rami,
Thx for the updates.....
I still have no internet (posting this from another location)....I would have thought my phone would have been cut off yesterday or today if BT were doing anything with the jumpering as they said they needed to.....so I have my doubts they have done as they said as normally I lose the phone while exchange work is being carried out and that hasn't happened.....
Another frustrating day waiting around for BT (expletive).
Are there any indications when all this is likely to be fixed?...as I have had no internet for a week now........
Can BT or plusnet give me a temporary login or way of using the internet while this fault is fixed?....as this has gone on for long enough.....

Bit late in the day, now, but I was given freephone number and used modem in one of my laptops when broadband was down due to line card failure.

Re: Migration Query

As Rami doesn't tend to read these forums as much as Adam/Matt (he's a faults agent), I've asked him to give you an update as soon as he can. He'll be in touch this afternoon/evening to let you know what's going on.

Re: Migration Query

Update....
Still waiting for the PTO notes from the HLE team.....
So BT have done nothing today to even try and rectify the fault and spent all day chasing some notes......just great....

Re: Migration Query

This is becoming even more of a nightmare for you as time progresses thanks to BT, hopefully it will be sorted and working before the end of next week.
It's been mentioned before about Andrews and Arnold's We'll fix your line pledge but I expect that they might find this a bit of a challenge, still it's worth a punt if the worst comes to the worst and it doesn't get fixed to your satisfaction.

Thx, that is a course of action I can try if this can't be sorted soonish......
The problem being that there seems to be no engineer in my area with a brain cell, so its hard to believe even this ISP can do anything....

Thats true.....
Perhaps its time plusnet stop pretending they have even a modicum of a working relationship with BT, while I accept BT are the main problem and as some have mentioned most ISP's wouldn't even bother to try and help as plusnet have, they have repeatedly given me the expectation that things will get sorted this time, by escalating it via BT  time and time again and by doing so each time the problem just gets worse, as I have gone from a faulty broadband since I joined plusnet on the 1st of April to having no broadband since 18th May with no idea whatsoever when it will be fixed.......even when (if) it is fixed I am sure I will have to go through at least some of the problems again.....ie have the upload uncapped (which took 2 weeks last time).....banded profile.......etc etc.......
I think plusnet could be more proactive and chase BT more rather than wait all day for BT to respond to them, especially as I have had ongoing problems now for 2 months......
Or perhaps plusnet should be more honest and just put their hands up and admit they can't get BT to do anything.......which clearly they can't anyway....... from what I have seen reading the other threads in this forum its just pot luck if people get their problems fixed when BT are involved....

I suppose it could be worse......
