10 years with Plus.Net

In July I will have been with Plus.Net for 10 years the longest time I have stayed with any provider.  I guess I already know the answer before I post this but do Pn reward long term customers in anyway a month free if you stay so long, then 2 possible even increasing to 3 for a certain number of years.
For example
5 years 1 month free
7 years 2 months free
10 years 3 months free
Don't get me wrong I receive £2.50 credit for referrals per month I see that more as a thank you for increasing business rather than loyalty.
At Christmas I give each of my customers vouchers towards their next treatment for being loyal. I believe rewarding loyalty is great PR and from a customers point of view is always accepted with great thanks.
Do PN have anything in place for ongoing loyalty.

Re: 10 years with Plus.Net

I ring up the customer options team every time my contract is up and have never been disappointed yet. I does mean a twelve or eighteen months contract though  Cool

I beat you by a month, started with Plusnet 6/5/2005, I think we at least deserve a long service award if not free broadband for the next ten years. Cheesy

Re: 10 years with Plus.Net

I like the idea, but as others have suggested you'd need to contact COT.
I wonder if I can tweak your suggestion and ask that staff over five years get a day extra off etc etc.

Just found it; 22 Mar 2004! and IIRC from the clutches of Tesco!
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Re: 10 years with Plus.Net

Do as I did and mention that you might move in a ticket and they will reply as they did to me to wish me well with my new provider. Too many years with PN.

Re: 10 years with Plus.Net

But isn't that because you haven't spoken to those whose remit it is to allow discounts? I've never once seen on here anyone say ask in a ticket for a discount  they always say phone COT.
Been with PN since 2007 and I got a good discount.
