According to Engadget, researchers in Japan have demonstrated that any WPA-protected connection using the TKIP algorithm can be broken into within a minute. The details will apparently be revealed September 25th at a tech conference. If you're running WPA or a WEP/WPA2 combination maybe it's time to revisit your wifi setup? The current advice is to make sure your wifi encryption is using the still-secure AES algorithm or WPA2. If you're not sure about what wifi security is or how to set it up we've a tech support guide here (we'll update it just as soon as we can). The more technically minded among you may feel you could go one better over at the Support Library?
