TP Link AX3000 not connecting

Hi, I have recently started using Plusnet full fibre 300, but found the WiFi signal around the house is poor on the router 2 provided, so purchased a TP ax3000 router and TP link extender for my office (which is fitted other side of house to router but within range).

My problem is I can’t get the TP link router to connect to the wall mounted open reach modem, the router just shows an orange light for ‘internet’ connected. I have tried some of the suggestions with the TP link settings (PPPoE, username/password etc ) but nothing seems to work……maybe I am missing a step somewhere or trying to connect it with the wrong settings.

Any step by step suggestions how to set this router up would be great.

(I’ve been massively frustrated with this so any help would be great!) …..thanks

Yup, it was an incorrect password.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
