If you have any extension wiring in your house then an integrated filtered faceplate is well worth the time and trouble to fit. I have seen a considerable improvement in performance from one I fitted for a friend. The reason for this is that the extension cable becomes a filtered telephone only output rather than extending the incoming full bandwidth telephone cabling around your house where it can pick up interference.
If you look on the likes of Amazon you will find VDSL filtered faceplates. Note that there are two types. The latest clicks on the front of the master socket. The older model is retained by two screws. If you look at your master socket you can see which type you need. They are not interchangeable.
