No dial tone or broadband connection

I've had a message to say phone services were activated yesterday and broadband this morning. I've plugged the phone into the main socket with no issue, plugged it into the filter with no issue, but when I plug my broadband into the socket, there is no dial tone on the phone and broadband is flashing red. Anyone have any idea what I can do to resolve this? I've used 3 different filters and all do the same. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

It sounds like you have a dead modem. Alternatively iare you plugging the line from your filter into the DSL socket, not the WAN (on Hub One) or  one of the LAN ones?

Oh gosh I feel so stupid lol, I had it plugged into the WAN socket!! All fixed now thank you

Please don't feel stupid. I wouldn't have known that this can cause these symptoms if I hadn't in the past done it myself!
