Hub 2 stopped allowing remote plex connections

Hi all
I have had a Hub 2 installed since early October and when i installed it i set up port forwarding for my Plex server and remote access was working. Since Saturday Plex has not allowed remote connections and on further checking with port forward checkers the port is closed.
I have not touched either the router or the Plex settings. I tried calling customer service and they suggested coming here for help.
I have reset the router and recreated the port forward and yet it still is not working.
Is there anyone who can help me please.

In the network settings of the router have you got the following setting checked for the device running PMS?
Under remote access on your PMS what do you see for this:
If it helped click the thumb
If it fixed it click 'This fixed my problem'

I have the always use this ip selected.

Have you looked in the log for the firewall to check you're getting the connection hitting the firewall?
This is what I see if a connection hits my router:
If it helped click the thumb
If it fixed it click 'This fixed my problem'

Nope i cant see amything like that in the log.

I have just noticed that my private ip address does not match the private one in plex.

So after a good dig around i found a vpn had been put in and turned on.
All is back to normal now.
