ASUS DSL-N55U Usable

Anyone know if the DSL-55NU is usable as an alternative to the Hub One?  I cannot seem to find a definite answer when searching the net, but was sure that the later firmware allowed one of the LAN ports to be used as a WAN port.

Re: ASUS DSL-N55U Usable

There seems to be at least two variants of the DSL-N55U.  Later ones have a dedicated WAN port according to google.

Have you seen this thread on same subject ?

That I hadn't seen. It appears I could use the N55U with the Hub One in Bridge Mode.

It might be a good option as I have been really disappointed with the ADSL speed provided by Plusnet. Will have to see how expensive the Fibre is with the price increases.

I don't believe the Hub One offers bridge mode btw.
