@Gvu6dotcom @Uh7665uh Yes someone DID get in touch with you, but as you've changed ID it went to your previous incarnation - see above, a staff member asked for you to tell them the account, I suggest you message them ASAP! They do seem willing to help but your identity is hiding you from them.

Re: Plusnet is completely unprofessional

I’ve still not received reply to my private message sent to member of staff. BTW how do I claim compensation for delay in service?

Re: Plusnet is completely unprofessional

It isn't clear to me exactly what the ECCs are for - it says "to complete the work" but doesn't say what that actually is. I would ask for a detailed breakdown of the costs (Openreach must have done a survey to get to this point so will have that info available). Since Openreach cover the fist £3400 of the costs, it suggests that the total costs are around £5400 - which should be enough for trenching over 100m of duct - overhead fibre is cheaper so would cover more distance.

Also it is strange that the VAT-exclusive and VAT-inclusive prices are the same, suggesting that it is zero rated - which I didn't think most ECCs were.

I suspect that FTTC is the only sensible choice, as full fibre at that price seems a rather expensive option!

Edit: just as a comparison, a few years ago when BT asked Openreach for a cost for Full Fibre for my premises they wouldn't even do a survey as they said the cost would obviously be >£100,000 - I now have FTTP from an altnet.

@Gvu6dotcom

You get replies on here when there's something new to talk about.

I've tagged @Tina11192  in the hope an answer as to what's happened will be forthcoming.

It appears to be there was a mistake on the OR database which should have stated a survey would be required. The results of the survey have been provided to you. You now appear to have a choice - accept the costs and get FTTP or stick with what you have.

This would apply to any ISP who uses the OR network - not just PN.

Out of interest has the Checker been updated to show non availability of FTTP.

Thank you for the tag @bmc , I'm sorry this has not been responded to, unfortunately I am not in the office for a few days, I'm tagging @LexLex2020 and @lahbrannan1 which should be working.

I hope this helps
