Re: Full Fibre offer

@Robin6

Thanks for the information.

As already stated it does not appear Full Fibre is available to you. To double check login to your PN Members page and see what you're offered.

While there, check for your phone number (and then run the Checker with the phone number) and exactly what product you're on.

Finally, you could have a look and see what OpenReach say for your property www.openreach.co.uk

Re: Full Fibre offer

@MisterW Any thoughts?

@jab1 BTwholesale database error / not updated yet to show fibre availability ?

but then why would Plusnet offer it if the BTW availability says no ?

@Robin6 I think this might need the wizard to see what's really going on... @Gandalf have you got a moment to have a look at this please

I have a feeling PN have dropped the ball, @MisterW , but maybe The Wizard can enlighten us?

Re: Full Fibre offer

@Robin6

There's a database problem somewhere along the line.

When you were in your Member's page did you get your phone number (you may not have a phone but there will be one associated with your account)?

It would be really interesting to see what the Phone version of the Checker returns.

Re: Full Fibre offer

Are we offering it now? I've had a look and there's no longer an option to select FTTP in the product change tool, so I suspect the BTw checker was updated after they realised how much work had to be done.

Re: Full Fibre offer

@Gandalf

Thanks for having a look.

Surely it would still show WBC FTTP as available (as the backbone network clearly is) but have a KCI2 marker on it and a note in the narrative below the window.

If you're right then the occupant has no apportunity to change their mind.

Re: Full Fibre offer

@bmc The backbone network isn't. The only option is FTTP OD, which is a totally different animal.

Re: Full Fibre offer

@jab1

Time will tell about the backbone network.

However, in my opinion it is there. PN would not have offer Full Fibre without it. Plus I would strongly suggest that FTTP OD (a product PN don't offer) would cost far more than £900 ECC.

Why do you think it is there? Genuine question.
