could someone at help me with getting a incorrect balance amount on my credit record removed?
I cancelled a mobile phone sim last year, then was continued to be charged so I cancelled the direct debit, which was probably the wrong thing to do but assumed as it was cancelled the payments were being taken incorrectly.
So after a few months plusnet sent the debt (which started at £7.50) to a debt collection agency called Past Due Credit Solutions.
Past Due credit required a payment of £41.55 which I paid in September 2019 on my credit card so I thought that it would be all sorted
fast forward to now and the balance remains on my credit record which is affecting my credit score.
I would like to get it removed but when I spoke to plus net mobile customer services they were not very helpful and said it was not their problem, I asked for a manger to ring back which never happened.
I believe that plusnet need to remove the balance from my file?
Any help would be appreciated
