Hello @Jt2019
I have found the following information, that should help you receive notifications on your Samsung Galaxy S6 phone when you receive a voicemail.
- Go onto apps
- Click on settings
- Select notifications
- Click on advanced
- Tap menu (3 dots)
- Tap show system apps
- Tap contacts.
- Ensure "allow notifications" is enabled.

Hi @Jt2019, I'm sorry to hear the issue with not receiving voicemail notifications persists. So we can narrow down whether this is an issue that lays with the account side of things or with the phone could you please try the SIM in another handset and trigger a voicemail message to see if a notification appear? This will likely narrow the problem down and give us a best course of action moving forwards on how to resolve this moving forwards.
In regards to you saying you received them previously, was this whilst with us as your mobile provider? Also, are you receiving other notifications fine such as missed calls?

So we can locate the account and do this could you please drop me a private message with the following:
Your full name
Your full address and postcode
The last 2 digits of your account and sort code
This will allow me to locate and raise the issue however looking at what form we would submit this issue on there are a few other questions to help our back end team investigate this.
What's is the make/model of your current handset? (Although I'm presuming Samsung 6 refers to the galaxy series?)
What was the make/model of the alternative handset?

We're sorry to hear that you're being affected by this issue, which we have seen before with other Samsung users.
So that we can narrow down whether or not it's a device issue, are you able to try your SIM in a non Samsung handset to see if the notifications then come through?

I am sorry to hear you are still having trouble with the voicemail notifications on your service and I apologise for the inconvenience caused.

There does seem to be an issue with Samsung handsets stopping voicemail notifications coming through, we can confirm the voicemails are been sent from our side when checking. It may be worth trying another handset perhaps a family members or friends if possible.

I have the exact same issue with the exact same phone - Samsung Galaxy S6
It's been a few months since this thread started, has there been any fix?
Can a Plusnet staff look into this for me also?
If this doesn't get fixed I may have to switch to another carrier as voicemails notifications are important to me, even if it means paying a slightly higher tariff.
