Hi, I've been a Plusnet Fibre Extra customer since March and i'm very happy with the service.
I've been looking at Plusnet Sim Only Mates Rates deals and they seem good value. However, I have noticed in the Customer Forum there are quite a few posts from people who failed a Credit Check when applying. However, in the 'Here's the legal bit' section it states : -
Credit and Fraud Checks
- Plan availability subject to credit and fraud checks, unless you are an existing Plusnet broadband customer where a credit check will not be required.
My question is, is a Credit Check required for an existing Broadband Customer or not?

You're right, if you're an existing broadband customer there's no credit check.
