I signed up to TalkTakl LLU recently, however i have received a letter from them stating that there was a problem switching my home phone. Something about BT not releasing the number and i have to phone 150 to get them to, is this normal?
It sounds like they have just sent you a generic letter that assumes BT are your current provider. I'm not sure on the outbound process when moving to LLU so I've asked someone from our Provisioning Team to have a look for you and see what's going on. Edit: One of my colleagues on the Provisioning Team has confirmed that we cannot restrict the transfer of your number to an LLU network. The only way we can obstruct these orders is to place a 'cancel other' order to cancel a transfer order. Neither a transfer order nor a cancel other order has been placed. I'd advise heading back to TalkTalk for further clarification.
