We were discussing my bill & the call just dropped, out of the blue
I have completed a 17070
1. Ringback (Phone rung back)
2. Quietline test (Noise on line)

Just to be thorough, have you:
- Tried an alternate handset?
- Connected your phone directly into the Test Socket with no other equipment connected to your telephone sockets?
If so, do you still get noise on the 17070 quiet line test?

1. Corded handset (Noise on line)
2. Corded handset in Test socket (Noise on line)
3. Corded handset in test socket with Recorder to record the noise on the line
There was nothing on the logs that I could see for the time the call dropped
That said
There was another Line drop @ 09:05AM

Then there was the deliberate connection drop at 14:44PM when I completed the quiet line test Via the Test socket
looking at the logs

Yes the noise did disappear, hence why I cancelled the engineer's appointment on the 18th, as I felt it would of been a waste of his' / her time if they was unable to detect it at that time.

So moving onto the drops you've noticed - I wonder, do the drops occur on your broadband when connected into the Test Socket?
I know there's a few drops as highlighted above, but it'd be good to have your connection in there for a few days if possible?
