Landline inoperative

Hi - 

My landline stopped working last Tuesday, and the Plusnet Bot diagnosed an external fault and said 1-4 days for a fix.

Any way to check on the progress of fix? And can I claim any compensation for the inconvenience/cost while the line is still out?

Thanks a lot for getting in touch @jacobi21 and I'm really sorry to hear that you were having issues with your line. The fault on our end appears to be resolved now, are you still having any issues with your service?

Hi - thanks for your message.

Landline remains inoperative - no dialling tone, nobody able to get through.

Broadband ok, but this is now the fifth day without phone, any suggestions?

Fix

Have gone back and checked all my connections; cordless phone works; found loose connection to main phone from initial changing of filters, line now functional again!
