? Faulty line

My land line w/o t accept in coming calls and there's no dialling tone. Phone will ring it's partner and vice versa. A y ideas most appreciated.

Get a known working, corded telephone, and connect it to the test socket on your BT master socket. (you'll need to remove the 2 front screws to do this).

If there is still no dialtone, you'll need to report the fault to Plusnet who will arrange for Openreach to fix the line fault.

Hi @PaulaT2

I'm sorry to see your phone doesn't work. I've tested your line today and the tests are showing a fault on the line, so I've reported this to our suppliers and we've been given an estimated response time of by 15/09/21 23:59:59 for an engineer to go out and investigate further. We'll provide an update Here as soon as we know more.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
