Call Protect ineffective

I have been getting scam calls recently for double glazing so I signed up for Call Protect. Dialling 1471 gives caller's number as a non-existent number. I have the option to bar unrecognised numbers set on, yet these calls still come through. Unfortunately the scammers change the spoofed number each time, so adding to my personal barring list is not effective either. Does this option not work?

Hi @icogs, I'm sorry to hear nuisance calls are still making it through despite you having the option to bar withheld/unrecognised numbers barred.

Could you try enabling the option to also bar international numbers? As this often also cuts down a fair chunk of these calls in my experience.
