BT 1471 is no longer working

BT 1471 (last number that called) is no longer working - the last time that I checked when it worked was 18 Feb 2023.
Everything else seems to be 'as normal' (BT Vanguard 10 phone & BT4600 call-blocking/answer phones).
Is there a test or reset process that I could try ?

Hey there @Davexxx how are you doing? How's this week treating you? You having a good one?

 

I'm sorry to hear it's not working. What does it do when you call up? Have you tried another phone? Have you tried calling and then using 1471?

I've tried 4 phones (connected to 3 different sockets), and the problem is evident on each phone:

1) Lift receiver
2) Dial 1471 - no change of tone
3) After 7 seconds, change of tone (same tone as encountered after 20 seconds of simply lifting the receiver)

4) Dial another number
1) 2) 3) are identical

Have you tried it from the test socket at all?

They've tested it and no fault has been found! Can you try it again for me now?

Will,

Slight change, but 1471 still not working:

1) Lift receiver
2) Dial 1471 - no change of tone
3) After 5 seconds, 'Dead' (no tone)
3) After 5 further seconds, change of tone (same tone as encountered after 20 seconds of simply lifting the receiver)

Hiya Dave, I've just picked up your reply as Will's not at work at the moment. I've let Openreach know that the fault still needs to be worked on and I'll make sure Will follows things up with you on Monday.

Hi - I've received a message re Question [ 232431249 ] indicating that the problem has been fixed, but I've just completed an incoming phone call and unfortunately 1471 still isn't working.

Hi @Davexxx , I've just had a look at the fault report with Openreach and it looks like we'd need to book an engineer appointment as the next step. 

 

Could you let us know if you can be available for one of these slot times?

 

Monday to Friday

 

AM = 08:00 to 13:00

PM = 13:00 to 18:00

These are usually OK:

Monday to Friday
PM = 13:00 to 18:00

Adam - update: have received another incoming call, this morning, and 1471 is now working.
