All that happened was my husband went behind the tv, he untangled all the wires behind there then plugged them back in and that’s when the WiFi stayed with the issue.
@JulieD42 to be clear , was it working before your husband untangled the wires ?

So again for clarification, this problem only started after your husband had unplugged and untangled a jumble of wires? If so then maybe it is a job for Qube.
Edit
My post crossed with that from @MisterW

My money would be on that being correct. Are you sure that everything is plugged back in correctly and that there are no damaged plugs or sockets?

@Baldrick1 The ONT is powered and operational, the Hub is powered - what else could be involved?

you said earlier
Thank you, I’ll try that. In terms of the cable. It hues from the lan port on outreach box to wan port on router. Each end of the cable is red.
That sounds correct .
there's nothing plugged into the DSL port on the router is there ?

I have no idea, maybe an impedance fault. These 1GHz links work in mysterious ways their wonders to perform. Else it's a low probability (but not impossible I grant you) coincidence.

Yes, I did a video call with Plusnet and we tried different sockets. Evenbsifferent ethernet cable to the openers box from the router… nothing worked. I said to my husband what the heck have you done? He said nothing I just untangled the wires and plugged it all back in. That’s when the solid orange light issue came on once he plugged everything back in but nothing Plusnet could suggest made it work again.

No, all we have plugged in is power cable and a cable from wan port that goes to lan on the open reach box?

Yes so all we have is a red ended cable that goes from the lan port on open reach box to wan socket on the router. Nothing else is currently plugged in.
