You posted the image of the results as I was typing so disregard my previous post.
It states single dwelling but with possible wayleave issues so it may not be a straight forward install.
It shows you currently receive your connection via overhead so this is the starting point for an install. They may be able to bring the fibre in via the existing copper entry point (after removing the copper cable) but a power source is required for the ONT. The Router is connected via an ethernet cable so can go anywhere you want.

When you're ready and have your landlord's permission place an order for FTTP and wait and see what happens.
The system will probably give you a provisional install date but this can be ignored as it won't be confirmed until the wayleave issue is sorted. How long this takes is anybodies guess.
If you wish you could phone the PlusNet Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 who may be able to provide more details on what's required.

Perhaps, perhaps not.
When PTSN is withdrawn the copper lines from the Exchange to the cabinet become redundant but those serving properties from FTTC cabinets will still be in use.
FTTC is expected to be available for several years to come as I understand it. Those already on it should be able to continue using it for a good while.
However, at some point the Exchange will be declared a Fibre Priority Exchange which means that all new connections will be Full Fibre if it's available at a property and, I think, no upgrades to FTTC services will be allowed. So FTTC will gradually wither away.
As to your own situation you are free to upgrade to Full Fibre anytime you wish with PN but it would cost you a new contract. If remaining on FTTC you willl be moved at some point to what's known as a SOGEA connection which is internet without a phone service. As you don't use the phone anyway you'd not notice the change.
Always happy to hear how the FF install goes if that's what you choose to do.
