Moved to FTTC around a month ago. Before I moved to FTTC, the prediction was that I should get 65 meg.
Looking on PlusNet it says:
Estimated line speed:80Mb (This may vary between 64.9Mb and 80Mb) - Checked on 2016-07-04 18:12:34
Current line speed:61.2 Mb
My router (Plusnet Hub 1) currently reports the line speed as
Downstream: | 61.91 Mbps |
Upstream: | 18.92 Mbps |
... that speed has been amazingly stable since day 1, and the internet performance is generally good (slows a bit occasionally, at peak times).
Should I be particularly worried that I'm a few meg lower than predicted?
