Can PN please request DLM remotely resetted please because my FTTC has dropped sync rate for no reason. DLM has act to reduced my sync rate twice now within the last five days.
Before:
Max Rate: 82344K
Sync Rate: 79999K
SNR 6.5dB
1st resync:
Max Rate: 81727K
Sync Rate: 78171K
SNR 6.4dB
2nd resync:
Max Rate: 80495K
Sync Rate: 77895K
SNR 6.5dB
Why it no longer sync at 79999K? as BT Bras IP Profile also drop from 77.35Mb to 75.32Mb and getting only 68Meg throughput speed
Feb 2014 Stats:
Max Rate: 108092Kbps / 38067Kbps
Sync Rate: 79987Kbps / 19999Kbps
Line Attenuation: 7.8dB / 10.2dB
SNR Margin: 13.8dB / 22.8dB
Interleave Depth: 1 / 1
INP: 0 / 0 (fast path on both downstream and upstream)
Now August 2018 Stats:
Max Rate: 80495Kbps / 26925Kbps
Sync Rate: 77895Kbps / 19999Kbps
Line Attenuation: 12..0dB / 11.3dB
SNR Margin: 6.5dB / 15.1dB
Interleave Depth: 8 / 1
INP: 49 / 0 (fast path on upstream only)
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Hi there, We're unable to request that for you in this instance as the speeds you've reported aren't below MGALS, that's currently part of the criteria for a remote DLM reset for a fibre circuit.

@adamwalker Explain what are these MGALS ? I think it mean by BTw DSL Checker estimate for handback set at 63.4Mbps by BTw.

@adamwalker Has PN put me on the wrong product? 40/10 as I was suppose to be on 80/20? What was going on? Not happy at the moment Has Openreach accidently put me on the wrong line by the cabinet?

ah well, I looking forward to this Saturday Virgin Media VIVID 350 Cable Broadband. I do genuine think my FTTC will start to drop downward slowly due to crosstalk and nothing PN can do about it. DLM is all over the place today. With cable broadband with VM no need to worry about dreading DLM.

You don't need to worry about the DLM. Of course it will still be there, but there's no need to worry about it, especially if your connection is still good enough for whatever it is that you want to do with it.

Looking at the earlier TBB graph, I don't think Max uses his broadband, just constantly checks the connection speeds.
I do seem to remember him going to Virgin before, but that did not last long.

VM VIVID 350 is all great in this area as my bro told me. No more congestion area. So I am giving it a try out as I sign up in a 30 day no contract with £50 online special credit apply on it. See how it go on Saturday.

How did you get those 40/10 sync speeds? What have you been doing Max, I think you have been trying to cap your sync speeds at the modem to remove Retransmission high profile. There was some mention of this on the Kitz forum. Hope VM works for you. Then there will be no more moaning about your FTTC sync falling by a tiny amount..

I haven't cap my line cos I don't know how to use these command over kitz forum. I don't understand how it work, I wouldn't mess with it anyway. My FTTC isn't on Retransmission high profile, still on Retransmission low profile.
