So basically most customers speeds will stay as they are , despite PN saying we have given you extra download
i am no expert but to most customers they would presume they geting more
samsung 850evo 250gig , WD black 2 TB . Asus Phoebus sound ,
16 gig Avexir ram 2400 , water cooling Corsair H100i gtx ,
Corsair 750HXI Psu , Phanteks Enthoo pro case .

Ah. So this is the logic. Which is fair enough.
It would be a more honest change, therefore, to move only those customers on the 40/20 offering who are attaining upstream sync speeds of 9Mbps or less to this new 52/9.4 product.
Especially since it isn't being offered to new customers.
If the profitability of the 40/20 product was based on a fixed term pricing deal from Openreach/BTw, and it was always, therefore, going to be the case that it would eventually have to be withdrawn, then this should have been made clear to those who took out the package from the beginning. Otherwise, it was mis-sold.
