symmetric fttp

Hello Everyone,

Does PlusNet has any plans to offer symmetric fibre connections?

Re: symmetric fttp

PN use the BT Openreach network and the only symmetric offering they have is for Governments Project Gigabit areas currently, and as they don't offer the highest download tier I think it's highly unlikely.

@nish

If they do, they'll not share them until they announce the launch of symmetric products.

I personally consider it unlikely they will - certainly not for a good while. PN are the basic value brand of the BT group.

Re: symmetric fttp

Symmetric FTTP would eat into BT's leased line business, and so I wouldn't expect it ever to be offered by the Plusnet basic broadband only brand.
