Sorry about that, @DerekW , but these things do happen sometimes. The good news is that (1) they've identified the issue, and (2) it sounds as though it is in hand.

They also said that other properties just round the corner from me had the exact same issue.
They said the light on the ONT will just turn green one the issue has been rectified.
Thing is how long do I wait before grumbling? 1 day? 2 days?

@DerekW I honestly don't know the answer to that, but if it is affecting other properties, it may get sorted quicker than if it was just you. There is obviously a local network issue somewhere.

Just this second got an email from PlusNet along the lines of...
"We just wanted to let you know there has been a delay in processing your order (Really?, I didn't know that 🙄)
Our engineers need to carry out some external work before the service can be set up.
We will be back in touch on the 14th"
This is really starting to annoy me now

PlusNet have now sent me a text message twice in as many days letting me know my order has been "Delayed"
I am well aware it is "delayed" all they are doing by sending out these messages every day is to annoy me even more.
Still have a red light on the ONT despite the engineers saying on Monday it should be sorted in a couple of days

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Well another day has passed and still no fibre, this is becoming a bit of a farce now.
Can a member of the PlusNet team look into this for me please and chase things up?
I was told by the "expert" engineer on Monday that there was an issue at the the exchange and that the ONT should spring to life in a 1 to 2 days time.
I feel a complaint coming on.
