Is everybody's email down today?

Maybe something to raise with Ofcom, I can’t access PlusNet complaints service as it seems only available to broadband account holders. Happy to hear advice to the contrary.

Thanks @dave Any word on an ETA for this to be fixed?

I've raised a ticket with Greenby which is still "awaiting response"  and there isn't anything on greenby.com that gives any indication of service status or issues.

well said,a lot of us in the same boat and a lot of us looking for a new  firm to run our internet  i suspect,loyalty to customers seems to have gone out the window

Just adding to the group.....unable to access email not even the webmail service works! So sad like many on this thread, been with Plusnet almost since the beginning when they used to have a web cam so you could see them at work....those were the days! Good luck Plusnet.

I've been getting sync failures for 4 hours now (IMAP and POP3).  I appreciate that it can be difficult to predict when a fix could be effected, but some kind of periodic update might help.  At the moment, all that's been acknowledged is that a problem exists - we don't know if the engineers have identified the cause, let alone how far they along the route they are to fixing it.

Much like everyone else I've had no luck receiving email on any devices (mobile / desktop) since around 12 noon today. I've only just been moved over to Greenby (3rd Feb) and see their webmail is down too - it keeps reporting "RC error: Login failed, please check your credentials.".

I knew the switch over was coming but didn't realise it had happened - my day-to-day email account never received anything. On the other hand, the postmaster address of the account seemed to have to received 6 identical emails (one for each mailbox that has been setup on the account - guessing there's a bug in one of their email scripts there then).  Thankfully knowing the switchover was on its way, and not having that much confidence in Greenby, I had already started to move the family to a new email provider - shame we only just started this weekend so there are plenty of accounts that haven't been switched yet.

Been with PlusNet for well over 25yrs now and disappointed with the current situation - Broadband has always been good and, when I've had to use customer service in the past they were very helpful, polite and efficient, but with the constant interruptions in email and the decline in customer service I'll be moving elsewhere.

This email fiasco has definitely caused me to have second thoughts about renewing my plusnet contract. With email gone and home phones going soon, there is little left to hold me here. I've been with pnet for more years than I care to remember but this could be the final straw.

Access to email appears to have been restored on the last couple of minutes. I successfully logged in to webmail and my emails have downloaded to my iPhone too.

I’m a former Madasafish / Globalnet customer and had same email address for 28 years.
I recently switched my broadband to BT Business so only have my legacy globalnet email and it is linked to my BT account. There’s a possibility I’m going to need to update that if problems persist, or there are migration problems with Greenby.

I've just had a load of email through too, potentially mails are queued that were sent in the last couple of hours, I'll see if I can check.

Interesting to see that even Plusnet staff rely on Greenby for their email and are not immune to our pain!

Inbound email seems to be working, but outbound is not.
