Re: Is Greenby down?

Yep, sure, thanks.  But I did check with the Greenby link you gave, just in case.  But as expected, not recognised.

Shouldn't matter now, except for the underlying account "plusdsl.net" address messages, as I've now got everything redirecting to my IONOS Basic Mail and pull them via Thunderbird (though the IONOS config info pages were wrongly giving USA .com server addresses where it should have been .co.uk, except in one place).

PN webmail is clearly still having a problem - while I can now login, it only gives an error in toaster notification at top and my mailbox structure is missing on the left (no bin/junk, etc).

Re: Is Greenby down?

pvmb, are you wilfully misunderstanding? Which part of 'not working for me' do you refuse to understand?

I suggest pvmb, in the politest possible way, that you're misguided in your analysis. Do not inform me that the Greenby site "a bit erratic in terms of operational speed" - for you - when it is currently broken, dead, unresponsive, knackered, passed away - for me. Do not try and gaslight me by asking whether people (i.e. me) have forgotten so quickly.

I shan't react to your strange commentary any more. It's not worth it.

OK. Sounds good to me. (As you seem to have nothing constructive to say)

From your downloaded image...

That's interesting. That looks to be the Old Style version of Roundcube UI (like Plusnet webmail). I always use the default, New Style (which also works well on a phone!) when on Greenby. Seems difficult to believe but could the situation depend on which version of Roundcube UI is being used?

Re: Is Greenby down?

Another one unable to access my Metronet,email account on Greenby webmail or via Thunderbird. I can log in to webmail, but there's nothing there and I know there should be dozens of emails in the inbox. Good old Greenby!

@jamroom

"I can log in to webmail, but there's nothing there and I know there should be dozens of emails in the inbox"

What version of Roundcube UI? 'Old Style' (as Plusnet webmail UI) or 'New Style' (default Greenby Roundcube UI)?

It looks to me as if the issue is user based (i.e. which Plusnet email species they were on) or - less likely? - webmail UI version based. Which shouldn't affect email client software; so user based more likely?

As an aside, I just tried - successfully - logging in via the old Plusnet webmail. Everything looked to be fine, it is now a mirror of my Greenby email setup. Being cautious I didn't try to 'operate' anything, just logged off. Originally I had an ordinary, simple, straightforward Plusnet email account.
