Emails not being received

Hello - I’m not entirely sure which service is providing my email anymore, but it’s moved over the years from Freenetname to Madasafish and probably somewhere else in the Plusnet/BT firmament. A few days ago my mail just stopped arriving - no changes this end. I usually access mail via my phone but also checked via my pc, which showed a message: “Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: You exceeded your mail quota.”

 

My next port of call was to check webmail - Plusnet shows the same emails as already received i.e. stops Sunday morning (and I know there should have been subsequent mails received as I have sent test mails from an alternative account).

 

Has anything changed?  Any advice to repair would be much appreciated.

Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: You exceeded your mail quota.”

This suggests mailbox is full.  

From WEBMAIL >>> Settings >>> Folders >>> Inbox      I can see the space used.
 
You can do the same for the Sent   folder to see space used.

Hi - thanks for the advice. I’ve emptied my webmail.  Whilst dealing with a couple of legacy mailboxes with a handful of saved mails I found one of interest to preserve so fwded it to myself. I got this message: Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable.  550 <{mailbox}@{username}.plus.com>invalid address’{mailbox}@{username}.plus.com

 

This sounds serious!  Any advice on resolving this pls?

Update: mails now coming through but I’ve missed 3 days worth of mail. Any ideas how to get these or are they just lost now?Huh

Thanks Ali -  I got yr mail. However, my response got bounced. Looks like yr account doesn’t accept replies; the clue I guess being that it is noreply@community-mailer.plus.net
