From Outlook, I get the message "Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently [relevant email address] Reason: A message that you sent to the following recipient could not be delivered due to a permanent error. ** The remote server ?? responded with: ** [relevant email address] ??:?? This message was created automatically by mail delivery software on the server."
From iPhone: "Cannot Send Mail [relevant email address] and [my totalise address] are not valid email addresses and have been rejected by the server. The message has been placed in your Outbox."
WebMail seemed to send successfully just now
Thank you

"SMTP Error (550): Failed to set sender [my totalise address] sender domain rejected (blacklisted by local policy)"

Webmail to the same addressee?
These details are immensely important as from them it is possible to infer the infrastructure involved in the experience. Such is a contributor to ic24 working from local devices, but not webmail - your reported experience suggests the opposite for totalise.

I am afraid that I do not know what ic24 means. I am just here because I am desperate to get my emails working. So if you need more info, please let me know in the simplest possible lay terms!
Today:
(1) I tried to send to a hotmail.co.uk address from my totalise address using the plusnet webmail (webmail.plus.net). It would not send and I got the error: "SMTP Error (550): Failed to set sender [my totalise address] sender domain rejected (blacklisted by local policy)"
(2) I tried to send a message to a helloguest.co.uk address from my totalise address using Outlook. It seemed to send but I got a bounceback message "Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently [relevant email address] Reason: A message that you sent to the following recipient could not be delivered due to a permanent error. ** The remote server ?? responded with: ** [relevant email address] ??:?? This message was created automatically by mail delivery software on the server."
(3) I tried to send a message to a wesleyschapel.org.uk address from my totalise address using my iPhone. It would not send and I got the error "Cannot Send Mail [relevant email address] and [my totalise address] are not valid email addresses and have been rejected by the server. The message has been placed in your Outbox.

The problem was fixed last week, other than sending emails to another totalise email. I can't seem to send emails again either from android or web mail

FYI The SMPT Error message is different to last week.
SMPT Error(550): Failed to set sender "name @totalise.co.uk" ([Name@totalise.co.uk] sender domain rejected (blacklisted by local policy))
Last weeks SMPT (550) Error was Failed to add recipient "Name@totalise.co.uk etc
I'm sending from a lap top via plusnet web mail using my totalise account (email address). Also from my phone again via web mail. The email has not sent email to another totalise email even after the fix last week. As from this morning will not send email to other address." totalise,live.com,soton.ac.uk,nhs.net,yahoo.com or gmail.com"

Hey,
Is this the same type of error that people are getting? This is with a Totalise email address and has been happening all day!
Simon..

Having not sent emails over the weekend, this evening I'm getting failure to send messages from my own Outlook client when trying to send messages to gmail & other domain recipients. This appears to be the same new error that has appeared for other @totalise users today.
Error message is: "Cannot send the message. Verify the email address in your account properties. The server responded: 550 <**@totalise.co.uk> sender domain rejected (blacklisted by local policy)"
[where ** is my email account]

Im also still facing the same issue, unable to send email with the error listed already:
Error message is: "Cannot send the message. Verify the email address in your account properties. The server responded: 550 <**@totalise.co.uk> sender domain rejected (blacklisted by local policy)"
[where ** is my email account]
That is the same from PC, webmail and also android phone

@Townman, can you post the settings totalise users should be using for outgoing mail to ensure we all have the same in place and that you can use to validate behaviour and hopefully solve the issue. I only state this as for many users the settings have changed numerous times over the years so consistency prior to migration to Greenby would be great.
Please advise if there is anything us users can do to assist in resolving this issue as it is becoming very frustrating where totalise is used as a primary email.
