In the last thread it was requested by AndyH on the 13th September and it wasn't a moderator request

In Reference to the one being unhelpful, which then had the knock on affect, that AndyH took up, (Where it was formally requested as far back as 2012 by other members)
To where we are now, a fresh new board
So yes OJ sparked it off, by stating

As Oldjim has said, the thread you're referring to was about something entirely different.
The change is for the benefit of all members, not specific to Moderators or Staff, this is after all, a community.
