Re: Website and Internal System Issues today

I didn't see any point in including the rest of the rubbish
However there is a serious question raised by your post
There are no means for Residential Customers to contact them at all during the down time so why mention it  Crazy Crazy

Mind you, I did say "they reckon" . Do you think any Plusnet staff might be lurking in the shadows?

Must be one massive update that's taking a week. Still think there is more to this than they are letting on.

Well depending on what the remuneration is I may apply for the job. Job? What job? The job of IT manager, or whatever the title is being held by the person that should be getting pushed out the door for this debacle.

Updating some of this stuff is tricky because of the "customised bits" where there is a bit of an interface with broadband accounts to verify a user (in simple terms).

I'm pretty sure that is one of the reasons Plusnet have resisted updating this lot before.

Re: Website and Internal System Issues today

Err sorry no. Its not a reason its nothing more than an excuse. If this upgrade was done properly in theory no one would have really noticed it had ever been done (short of anything obvious).

It's about time someone came clean and told us the real reason it's down.

So, what data and how much  Huh

A "simple software upgrade" doesn't take over a week....

Everything should now be resolved, and access should be restored. Have updated our service status too.
